We can apply a water-repellent treatment to our polyester velvet. It is suitable for upholstery and other furniture items. Typically, regular fabric absorbs water the moment it is dropped, but the water-repellent treated fabric remains effective even one hour after water is dropped on it. (There may be variations depending on certain conditions.)
